Hi, howzit going?
Finally, something to give you an insight into what i have seen and probably what i have been doing for the past year and a half. Its been hard being so far away and not being able to pop in whenever i felt the urge, but i know now, more than ever, that you are special to me and that regardless of the distance, i will always make an effort to hassle the living ?=*#~ out of you. You mean that much!
Home means a great deal more to me now than before. I miss the smells, the colours, the people, the sun; i miss hanging out with you and knowing everything will be fine even if i have to survive on cereal and soup. I dont mean to say that all is not good in the north; the buses run on time, clubs open til 2am (sigh), the markets are organised, and most of the people are polite. What is lacking though is the energy and the rawness that is home. Strangers talking to strangers just cause they can, being hit on 50x a day (they still dont realise they all sound the same), bright colours on really dark skin, and sandles or bare feet at the mall - mainly in the west.
I am gonna try and keep this site as up to date as i possibly can, cause then we can keep tabs on each other, and when you do soming crazy we can let everybody know about it, even if you are organising a party you can let us know by posting it on this site - just make sure i am also invited.
Missing you, and hope its all good wherever you are. Dont be a stranger. Take care...
